What types of corporate events do you host?

Holiday parties, team retreats, leadership offsites, planning kickoffs, client appreciation dinners, award ceremonies, company milestone celebrations, training workshops, and corporate summits. If your event involves gathering a group in a private, well-managed setting, we can host it.

How many people can the venue accommodate?

Up to 180 guests across our combined indoor and outdoor spaces. Our 2,200 sq ft ballroom comfortably seats 80–120 for a dinner-style event; the covered tent expands capacity to 180 for receptions or standing events. For smaller groups of 20–60, we configure the space to feel appropriately scaled rather than cavernous.

Is catering available, and can we bring our own?

Yes to both. Our preferred caterer, Tam's Backstage, provides full-service catering including buffets, hors d'oeuvres, bar service, and staffing. If you have a preferred caterer, they're welcome as long as they're licensed and insured — a $300 kitchen-use fee applies for outside vendors. Food trucks are also permitted (licensed and insured).

Do you have AV equipment or can we bring our own?

We don't provide in-house AV equipment, but you're welcome to bring your own or arrange a rental through a third-party vendor. Our DJ service is available for events requiring sound and music. For presentations or screen-based content, we recommend coordinating a portable AV setup — we'll work with your vendor on access and placement.

Is the venue exclusively ours for the event?

Yes, completely. When you book White Laurel Estate, the entire property is reserved for your group — all 20 acres, both indoor spaces, all outdoor areas, and the full parking lot. We do not double-book. Your team will never share the venue with another group.

Do you offer overnight accommodations for multi-day retreats?

Yes. We have a 3-bedroom cottage and a 1-bedroom cottage available on the property. A Friday + Saturday package including both cottages for two nights is $11,000; a full Friday–Sunday package with cottages is $14,000. Cottages can also be added à la carte to any single-day booking, subject to availability. Additional hotel options are available within 4 miles.

How far is White Laurel Estate from Atlanta?

We're located at 6370 Wagner Way in Dawsonville, Georgia — approximately 45 minutes north of Atlanta via GA-400, 4 miles from the Dawsonville outlets exit. We're easily accessible from Alpharetta (25 miles), Cumming (17 miles), Canton (30 miles), and Gainesville (20 miles). For teams coming from Buckhead or Midtown, plan about 50–60 minutes depending on traffic.

How far in advance should we book?

For holiday parties and peak-season Saturdays, we recommend booking 4–6 months in advance — Q4 Saturdays in particular fill early. For weekday events and off-peak dates, we often have availability with shorter notice. Reach out as soon as you have a target date and we'll tell you honestly what's available.

What's the pricing structure?

Venue rental is priced by day: Monday–Thursday and Sunday at $3,500, Friday at $5,500, Saturday at $8,500. Multi-day packages: Friday + Saturday with both cottages at $11,000; full Friday–Sunday with cottages at $14,000.
